Caprica. More Particularly: Richard Harmon

Today, upon returning home from school, my dad decided to watch Caprica. I had actually been fairly intrested in watching the show, but had never actually gotten around to it. So we started watching it On Demand. I was a bit confused at first, but this actually made sense when I realised, after watching it, that it was the 5th episode, since the others had been deleted from On Demand. After watching the episode after that, it started to make sense, and I actually found myself quite enjoying it! It's kind of a fantastic show to be honest. And seeing as I stopped watching Heroes a couple weeks before the (season) finale, I need something to fill the void of "Scifi Show I'm Completely Obsessed With" and this seems to be a good candidate!

One of my favourite plots I was able to see at the time was that of "New Cap City," a hacked V world (not to mention, hacked V worlds are pretty much way cooler than the legal worlds) that's actually just a game in a really cool steam-punk-ish old-fashioned kind of world that I absolutely love. The clothes, the lighting, the cinematography, basically the second they cut to New Cap City, everything becomes AWESOME. The thing about New Cap City, as described by "Heracles," is that while it is a digital replica of Caprica city, it has no laws. Anything goes. In my opinion, this would be totally awesome. A mob oriented old fashioned world with no laws and no consequences...but, each player is coded. And it's supposedly similar to a genetic code...in the way that once you "die" in the game, you can never return. Sure, you don't die in the real world, but there is no way of ever returning to New Cap City ever again. Which would suck. Majorly.

Now, there is a really long storyline about what actually happens there, but let's go back to that character "Heracles." See...not only is he dressed in nice old-fashioned attire for most of what we see of him in the show...he's pretty...attractive...not gonna lie.

So, as any normal teen...well, as I would do, anyway, I looked him up on imdb, and after finally finding him, discovered the following facts.

His name: Richard Harmon
His height: 5' 9"
Birthday: 18 August 1991 (making him about 4ish years older than me, which is not very weird at all, compared to some of my other actor crushes)

And: he's Canadian.

This probably doesn't matter to most people, but I have an odd fondness for Canada and all things to do with Canada (other than the seal slaughter...but...ummm...never mind) so this is pretty awesome for me.

Anyway, if you're at all curious as to who this person is, here is his imdb page: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2113653/

Enjoy. :-)
