I haven't posted anything here in a while...but I guess I have my reason's.
After my first day of Spring Break, I pretty much spent the rest of my spring break rewatching the entire season of Caprica, ending with watching the whole series 3 times, and some of my favourite episodes more like 4 or 5.
My mom took Wednesday off to spend some time with me, and we decided to go see The Blind Side at the cheap theatre. That is a truly great movie. Touching, well acted, and the fact that it's true is simply amazing.
Thursday was Holy Thursday, so my family and I all went to mass. Friday was Good Friday, and my sister and I sang at Tenebrae mass.
On Saturday, there was a Broadway Revue rehearsal. Unfortunately, after arriving at the school, we found out that the school was locked, so we ended up having rehearsal at the pianist' house. We were actually able to get some stuff done, which was surprising. My mom, my sister, and I had planned on going to see my cousin in the Passion Play of Denver, but we couldn't get tickets, so instead we watched The Passion of the Christ at home, which is always a great movie.
Easter was great, I went to mass for the first time in ages, and had Easter dinner at my Nana's. I got Zodiac (Le Zodiaque) and Harry Potter, along with a few shirts, and $20 to spend on anything Caprica related.
So, after returning to school, I was super busy. Rehearsal for Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat on Monday, and rehearsal for You Can't Stop the Beat Tuesday. On Wednesday, my Creative Writing contract was due. I had to read 3-4 memoirs, write a critique of one of them, and write at least 20 pages of my own. Which was a pain. I got it done, though, and that's what matters.
After that chaotic week, I went with my parents to the Denver Auto Show, which was actually kind of cool. I got my picture taken at a Volkswagon photo shoot, got alot of free stuff, and got to sit in a Delorean! If you don't what that is, then look it up. Because it's awesome.
Sunday, after church, we took my Nana out to dinner at Buca di Beppo's for her birthday, and then to youth group. We did a faith walk and then played some games. It was a pretty chill day.
Today, Monday, I had the first Broadway Revue dress rehearsal. I got my costumes for both of my numbers. For Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat, I have a navy maid dress. Well, I think it looks like a maids dress...and for You Can't Stop the Beat I have a pink pleated pretty dress that I really like.
And now...I'm all caught up.>
